yeah. sting is truly a musical genius. he’s original and utterly visionary. stevie wonder: the same. genius, original, visionary. These two have made indelible impressions on the musicianship of others and on our culture in general. “Songs in the Key of Life” jeez…come on; whaaz up?!

how is Sting a “genius” He hasn’t grown musically since 1985. Same goes for SW (he hasn’t done anything fresh since 1975).
Same old stuff. Not saying it’s not nice to listen to. But genius?

luxou if you’re referring to the police splitting up then im pretty sure sting has had a extremly successful solo music career since then all the way through to now. and stevie wonder is stevie wonder… enough said.

-

i dont know if id call sting a genius, but he sure knows how to make hits. does that take a genius of sorts? i dont know. stevie on the other hand also knows how to make hits. but some of his musical ideas that i hear just seem so good. again, i dont think id call him a genius but considering everything he does in music he does well (sing, harmonica, piano, songwriting, drums) id say hes very talented and close to a genius as you might get.

I don’t know about genius or not, but have you heard SOUL CAGES??? He actually has new ideas and influences on every solo album. Maybe you’re only familiar with the songs played on the radio.

That moment is so out of this world! Spiritul, Sting touches him on the shoulder with his head, 3:16 (my heart melt with the contactivity) This is performing music from the soul. I loved it. Just Wow!xxx
