  • In what octave does a 10 hole diatonic harmonica play?

If I had a 10 hole diatonic harmonic in the key of C what would be the range in reference to middle C?
PJH, I commend you on your keen perception of the obvious. Yes this question was asked before. However, I got mixed answers, and did not get a definitive consensus. I received answers stating "I think", and "according to my tuner." Nobody seemed to know for sure. I’m hoping you didn’t just look a an answer from where the other version of this question is posted and posted it here as your own. Maybe you could list a reference for where I could research this subject for myself.

    • Wasn’t this question asked before? Anyway, the lowest note is middle C and it goes up 2 octaves from there. No sharps or flats.
