Riverdance Irish Lament on Harmonica! (Caoineadh Cu Chulainn)
Posted on May 13th, 2010 21 commentsThis is my interpretation, played on a Tombo Folk Blues Harmonica, of the hauntingly beautiful lament from Riverdance (Caoineadh Cu Chulainn). The harmonica shares to a certain extent the sad and wistful quality of the Uilleann pipes but cannot of course come close to their timbre and depth.

i would never have imagined playing this on the harmonica and i defenitely would not have imagined it sounding this beautiful

This was beautiful !!!!
there’s no words to describe the feeling. I played it along the Davy Spillane’s performance and there is no error. Same thing but a little faster. It gave me the chills man!!!! -
