Gypsy Swing in E minor, Diatonic Harmonica Jazz
Posted on January 20th, 2010 7 commentsA theme to begin working gypsy jazz, composed by Sammy Daussat and proposed in Guitarist Magazine #23 (which includes the play-back). Thanks to Sammy Daussat for his music and his kindness. Good luck, Jerome

THE MAGIC HOLE ON THE HARMONICA – Lesson# 3 – BAJAN PIEDPIPER
Posted on October 31st, 2009 1 commentOK! ~ Here’s an insiders secret for you! Hole 3 is a magic hole on your 10-hole harp! Why? 3 DRAW IS AN EASY HOLE TO BEND! Even a slight bend (a mini bend) when you’re playing produces a bluesy sound and it gives your playing a big boost! So bluesify your playing by using 3 draw judiciously! But in addition, on 3 draw, 3 bent notes are possible! Here’s how: On hole 3 inhale and (silently) make the pronunciation DA (1/2 step) DU (Full Step) and DO (Step and a half) bend. When you go to bend …
